The enclosed front grille design, coupled with the Thor hammer daytime running lights, continues Volvo's family design language and makes the new car more recognizable. As an all-electric car, the official design has a front compartment with a capacity of about 30 liters, which increases the loading space of the car, due to the reduction of the internal combustion engine. ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) sensors are added to the front grille. As previously reported, the system will consist of multiple radars, cameras and ultrasonic sensors developed by Zenuity, a joint venture owned by Volvo and Veoneer.
The rear design is consistent with the cash fuel version of the car, the taillight is still l-shaped design, while the left side of the body is designed with a charging port. According to officials, the new car will be available in eight body colors, including the new Sage Green metallic paint. Consumers will also be offered a choice of 19-inch and 20-inch rims.
Interior, the new car in the dashboard can display the status of the battery information, convenient for drivers to understand the real-time driving situation of the vehicle. The interior design is still sporty, and the floor MATS are made of environmentally friendly recycled materials to ensure that organic gases such as formaldehyde are basically zero.
In terms of power, it has a 78kWh battery pack and can travel 320 kilometers on a single charge. Volvo says it can charge 80 percent of its battery in 40 minutes using a 150-kilowatt fast charger. A total of 402 horsepower and 660 nm of torque are produced by two motors in the front and rear. Volvo says it accelerates 0-100km/h in 4.7 seconds.
